About Fantastic Fireworks
Fantastic Fireworks is celebrating 25 years of lighting up the skies over Britain. We have been at the forefront of the popularity boom in fireworks since we started out in 1985.
At the time the Managing Director and owner, Jon Culverhouse, was a sports journalist working night shifts on the Daily Mail. Looking for a hobby business 'day job', the idea of setting up a fireworks business offered the opportunity to develop a childhood interest. Fantastic Fireworks started in a garage selling DIY packs through the small ads column of Private Eye.
We have since grown to become one of the leading firework companies in the country, winning the inaugural British Fireworks Championship, creating the World Rocket Record and staging Europe's biggest display of the decade to celebrate Liverpool's appointment as European Capital of Culture. As well as professional displays we provide exciting DIY fireworks for hundreds of individuals, clubs, schools and fund-raising events across the country.
We are based at Rocket Park, a 16-acre site just off the M1 near Luton Airport, where we supply fireworks for home delivery or over the counter from our Rocket Shop.We also have shops in Manchester, Oxford & Glasgow.
