ABC of Fireworks
Rockets
This is the classic aerial firework which flies high into the sky before bursting, releasing a series of coloured stars or effcts. As they rise they can release a shower of sparks and/or noise effects.
A rocket is mounted on a stick and launched from a tube which should be securely hammered into the ground. Larger rockets can be launched from a rocket rack allowing you to fire more than one at a time.
Safety Tip: Always angle fireworks, especially ROCKETS, slightly away from the audience and take note of the wind conditions. Rockets should not be fired in strong or variable winds as the stick which stablises the rocket can be blown about and cause the rocket to fly into the wind. Make sure you have plenty of space for the rockets sticks to fall back to the ground.

Multishot Barrages
A range of fast and furious effects from a single fuse firework - these are great at adding something extra to your show. Some have 'Z' shaped effects sweeping lines of stars from left to right to left - others are 'fan' shaped lifting a fan of stars. Do check the right side is facing the audience so they benefit from the full effect.
Safety Tip: These are very noisy fireworks and we recommend a minimum viewing distance of 50 metres.

Multishot Cakes
A combination of rapid firing candles fired from a single fuse.
Safety Tip: Place the cakes on a flat surface or a board to prevent it damaging the ground or falling over.

Multishot Candles
A single tube that fires a succession of coloured stars into the sky. Candles usually consist of a repetition of the same effect.
Safety Tip: To make sure the fireworks cannot fall over, tie securely to a stake with wire or bury up to a third deep in the ground.

Mines
Dramatic simultaneous columns of stars erupt from a single tube on the ground. They are great for grabbing everyone's attention - with a short thud and a wall of colour. Most of our packs include 4 or 5 different effects - with beautiful colours and great noises - but we also have a few individual mines designed for a great opening to your show or the final full stop.
Unfortunately mines have changed firework category and are no longer available to Retail or Mail Order customers due to the changes in storage and transport laws.
Pyro Pictures & Lancework
Words and pictures made up of brightly coloured mini-flares.
These are great for celebrating special occasions or wishing your guests a ‘Good Night’. They generally last for a minute and make very little noise so are great extras for ending a show in style.

Fireworks for Weddings
